OTOVATION Announces Pocket Hearo 1.3

     Lederach, PA -- November 15, 2004 -- OTOVATION, a leading provider of innovative audiometry products and solutions, today announced the pending release of a new Pocket Hearo LE 1.3 version. The 1.3 release of the software adds significant new features and adds to the already market-leading capabilities.

     Dave Davis, founder and President of OTOVATION commented, "We've added just about all of the important features that our customers and partners have requested, and believe that the Pocket Hearo is the most logical choice for affordable and comprehensive screening and threshold testing in the industry. The Hearo's data management has been extended with the ability to pre-load test subject information for ease of administering large numbers of tests, and we have also improved testing speed by adding features that make testing even faster and more efficient. All in all, there is really no other product in the market that comes close to the value of the Pocket Hearo for screening audiometry."

     Here are some of the new features that have been added:

Pre-load test records for large volume testing

Step function to increase/decrease intensity in 5, 10 or 15 dB steps

Preferences section for saving test parameters from session to session, and also enabling auto play of stimuli on up/down

Extended testing range to -10 dB

Rules-based calculation of Pass or Refer status during testing

Restore utility to reset Hearo pointer if discharged battery causes reset

Warning when battery level reaches 20%

Added support for several new wireless printers

     Pocket Hearo LE 1.3 will be available in January, and is a free upgrade for customers who are current with their software maintenance agreement.
